Tom McKeever "I spent the last 7 years as a Principal Engineer (Design) at KSC working on the Space Station Power and Guidance & Navigation Systems, but am now on Permanent Medical Disability from the Cardiac and PPS problems. (They seem to be additive!).. Now I play with Computers! :-)..."

Tim Zingale is a PPSer who likes to write about his experiences. He has written articles for his state post-polio newsletter, and others you'll find on his page under "Musings."

David Brock. "I am a post-polio survivor. My disability makes it necessary to use a motorized wheelchair. My seminar "The Church and theDisabled" is drawn from research of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Guidelines of the Architectural & Transportation Compliance Board, and my own experiences of over 40 years being disabled."

David Brock has also set up a web page entitled, Polio Survivor Friends, and placed on it pictures of people from the Polio List. If you would like to submit your picture please email David and attach your scanned picture in either .gif or .jpg format.

Susan. "I contracted Polio at the age of 18 months. There were many surgeries and lots of physical obstacles to overcome. A loving family and a comforting God helped me through some pretty tough times. My childhood was filled with lots of smiles and encouragement so I achieved some pretty nifty goals in life ..." Ernie Wolering doesn't give much personal information, but shows a great picture of himself at sea, and other sailing photos. Should be a clue..........

Ramon Castillo says, "I am an Occupational Therapy student at San Jose State University and enjoy reading Christian Books, playing table tennis, and tinkering with my computer." A good looking site with some great animated graphics.

Linda Dempster had her diagnosis of PPS confirmed on August 27, 1997. Pretty "new," but she has a great attitude. She says, " NOW, I can move forward to living better...knowing what I have and learning all I need to know! Just one day at a time...me and my LORD and other survivors and friends!" Julia Ashley says, "I'm not 'that woman with callipers.' I'm simply a woman - without the appendage." Julia has a place where you can voice your opinion, post a notice, read a brief description of polio and more.

Bill McClellan has a whole Website. One page for his polio story, and the others for all kinds of fun and interesting stuff. He says, "For more than 23 years now, I've been writing about the people and small towns of West Texas. As editor of a small daily newspaper, a keyboard, pencil and camera are tools of the trade."
